[livejournal.com profile] shibara_ffnet is to blame for this prompt.  XD  We had another party!

Scavenger/Hook - “PRIMUS, WHAT IS THAT?! GET IT OFF ME!”

“Scavenger, WHAT is that.”  Hook took one look at the other mech and scooted off to the other side of the medbay, putting a berth inbetween them.

“Dunno, but doesn’t it look cool?  I found it!”  Scavenger was happy, too happy for Hook’s tastes.  “Kinda looks like one of them organic creatures.  Yanno?”  He swung it around, something flying either off or from inside of it to spatter on the walls.

“Get it out of my Medbay before I kill you.  Seriously.  OUT.”  Scavenger came closer, and Hook had no better time identifying the thing he held than before.  “I’m warning you Scavenger, get. Away.”

The disarmingly happy smile was creeping him out, seriously, and he wasn’t even really sure that he wasn’t about to bolt for the door himself.  “I want you to look at it!  I thought that it was cool, I’m sure we can do something with it!”

He flicked it over to Hook, who promptly tried to dive out of the way, knocking over the medberth he’d been not-hiding behind and sliding along the floor.  A wet sounding splat, and then he felt disturbingly warm liquid dribbling from the item onto his plating.  “PRIMUS!  WHAT IS THAT!  GET IT OFF ME!!”

Hook clawed at his back, trying to pull the thing off, howling as it slipped between kibble and armor plating, moving deeper and deeper into his frame with each move he made.  “SCAVENGER!!  GET IT OFF ME NOW!!”  He was dancing around, shaking and trying to reach whatever it was, feeling it shredding and squishing between armor plates, pieces being cut off and making their way all the way to his wiring and protoform, nearly retching as the slimy surface smeared over the malleable metal of his body.

Scrambling over to the med bay wash stall he nearly threw himself in, turning on the solvent spray full force and twisting and turning beneath it, trying to get the stuff off and out.  HIs optics turning murderous towards Scavenger when he heard the barest hint of a laugh.

***************

Later, when Scavenger finally limped back to quarters, his look told everyone that it had, indeed, been worth it.
