Speaking of toasters, there's a number of toaster crack-fics scattered about. One is ff.net's Molten Ashes and their story titled "Toasterific". ante_luce wrote a 'verse called "the fairy-godmech", which inspired my own first foray into crack-fic, also involving toasters. If you want to read it, your easiest method is to find the one I did and follow the links in it. I will say that for best reading, you should read ante's set first, then my addition. The "crack" and "fic" tags make it easy to find on my Journal.
